I believe that we are each the experts of our own life stories and experience, and have the ability and strength to grow and change. In my work, I utilize my training and knowledge to help my clients capture that strength and channel it to promote reflection and long term change.

MY JOURNEY
I was born and raised in the Boston area, and lived in both California and New Hampshire as I went to school and integrated into the field. I currently reside in the greater Boston area and my practice based in Newton, MA.
After many years working in community-based agencies and helping my clients access outpatient providers, I observed their difficulty in finding providers; ones who could service their needs, had experience in navigating the systems/agencies present in their lives, knew how to support their diagnosis AND were accepting new clients.
Noting the clear lack of access to appropriate providers I decided to pursue an independent practice. Witnessing the frustrating and extensively long waitlists that my clients had to navigate, it was quickly clear that there was a need for more individuals to open their doors and contribute to the mental health community.

I emphasize the importance of self-care to my clients, and I make sure to not forget it for myself!
My favorite ways to relax are enjoying live music events, playing board-games with friends and hunting for the perfect Nutella gelato.
